With over 30 years’ experience in IT and telecommunications, George has worked extensively in engineering and management roles serving customers in government, defence and aerospace industries. Before joining Breeze, George was Board Director of Updata Infrastructure UK Limited and has also worked for Digital Equipment Corp, Gould Electronics and Encore Computer Corp. His personal commitment to a great customer experience is at the heart of the Breeze philosophy.
Matthew has more than 10 years’ experience in designing, building and operating large scale Service Provider Networks. Having been at the forefront of technical innovation, introducing new technology to businesses throughout his career, Matthew grew increasingly frustrated with the levels of service from the large providers. It was this desire to work for an innovative and disruptive business, offering new technology without legacy infrastructure, that drove him to help set up Breeze Networks.
Richard’s background is managed IT services. He was a founding director and shareholder of Updata Infrastructure UK Limited, which grew to become one of the UK’s leading suppliers of complex managed network services to the local authorities. In 2009, following a MBO financed by LMS Capital plc, he was appointed Managing Director – a post he held until the business was acquired by Capita IT Services in 2014 for £80m. Richard’s involvement in Breeze reflects his desire to be part of an organisation which genuinely puts the customer first, and values and empowers its employees.
Vic started his working life in telecommunications for the Royal Air Force. He has spent the past thirty plus years in the voice and data networks arena – initially as an engineer and subsequently moving on to senior sales roles for the likes of Motorola, Octocom, Harris Adacom Networks and Netrix. As one of the founding Directors of Updata Infrastructure UK Ltd., he remained as Sales Director from 2003 until the business was acquired by Capita IT Services in early 2014.
Vic sees customer service as the key differentiator for companies such as Breeze Networks; believing that superior customer service levels creates sustainable competitive advantage and long term value for customers and suppliers alike.
